Description
Sister Margeen Hoffmann is on right, dressed in blue skirt and shirt and green blazer. She was Executive Director of the Ecumenical Task Force of the Niagara Frontier from 1979-1988.
A group of children and adults gather closely outside a building, holding handmade protest signs with messages against landfill No. 6 and chemical waste disposal. Slogans include “Protect My Future Stop CECOS #6,” “NO! Landfill #6 No More Chemicals!,” and “I Have a Safe Life Stop CECOS.” A person in a green jacket leans down to talk with a child holding a sign. The atmosphere suggests a community-driven demonstration.
