A thumb-operated dental drill made of metal is shown against a plain background. The instrument features a cylindrical body with a spring-loaded mechanism and a small ring designed for thumb operation, allowing the user to rotate the drill manually. Two rounded metal wheels are attached near the base of the device as part of the gearing or drive mechanism that transfers motion to the drill shaft. The long, narrow end holds the drill bit used in dental procedures, and the metal surface shows patina and wear from use.
