Description
Used in bloodletting
Four steel lancets in shagreen leather case.
A small pocket medical kit is shown with its green patterned metal case open. The hinged lid reveals several small internal compartments holding compact tools and components. A folding metal lancet with a tortoiseshell-pattern handle extends from the lower edge of the case, suggesting the kit was used for minor medical procedures such as bloodletting or lancing. The textured exterior and compact design indicate it was made for portability.
