Subject
Music--Manuscripts
Brown, Earle, 1926--Manuscripts
Description
Three mounted sheets displaying orchestral music scores are set up on individual easels behind a rope barrier in a sunlit indoor area. The center sheet is titled Two pages from the score of Available Forms II (1964) by Earle Brown and includes dense musical notation. The sheets are displayed in front of large glass windows through which a city street, buildings, cars, and a streetcar are visible. Shadows from objects outside cast onto the central sheet. The space appears to be a curated exhibition or museum display highlighting contemporary musical works.
