A black-and-white aerial photograph taken by Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc., N.Y.C., showing a rural landscape centered around a large set of parallel rail lines running diagonally across the left half of the image. A small town or settlement is visible to the right, with clustered houses, farm buildings, and intersecting roads. A winding river passes through the lower and right portions of the image, bordered by open fields and scattered trees. Wooded areas appear in the lower left, and a canal or industrial waterway runs parallel to the river at the top right. The number “8226-323” is written in white in the upper right corner, and printed text in the lower right reads “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
