Description
Reprint
This black and white photograph depicts a bustling street corner in Algiers, where the building's exterior is almost entirely covered by large advertisements for Dendera and Tambourine Egyptian Cigarettes. Several people are present, including one person leaning against the wall, another in white robes carrying a bag of goods, and a third person with their back to the viewer. Visible text promotes different cigarette types and prices, and a sign on the far left reads "Street in Algier".
