Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
A black-and-white aerial photograph taken by Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc., N.Y.C., showing a developed suburban and industrial landscape. The lower left portion contains a large industrial facility with multiple rectangular buildings, tanks, and circular structures, connected by rail tracks. Residential neighborhoods with grid-pattern streets occupy the lower right section, while scattered houses and undeveloped fields extend northward. Several main roads intersect near the center, and a rail line runs diagonally from the lower left toward the top center. Patches of open land, wooded areas, and a small pond appear among the residential sections. The number “8226-34” is written in white in the upper right corner, and printed text in the lower right reads “FAIRCHILD AERIAL SURVEYS INC. N.Y.C.”
