Description
A large group of people stands in the street and on the steps of a building with tall columns which is the City Hall of Buffalo, New York. They are gathering to hear the speech of U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson during his visit to Buffalo, New York in 1966. The building’s facade is decorated with striped bunting and a banner that reads “BUFFALO WELCOMES PRESIDENT JOHNSON.” Flags are visible in the crowd, and some uniformed individuals and a band can be seen on the steps. A white vehicle is parked on the left, and people in mid-century attire walk or stand facing the building, suggesting a public event or rally.
