Description
Varanasi is the most sacred city to Hindus. Located on the Ganges, devout persons travel there at any point in their lives to bath in its special waters and thereby achieve greater opportunity for upward mobility. For tourists, a dawn ride on the Ganges river, allowing for excellent views of the steps ('ghats') leading from the city to the water.
