Title
Sculptures at Ellora caves
Description
This UNESCO World Heritage Site includes 34-human made 'caves' that have been sculpted between roughly the fifth and tenth centuries. India's religious variety is shown amply: twelve [the earliest] are Buddhist, seventeen Hindu and five Jain. All the carvings are done at more than one level. Overall, the caves are regarded as high points of Dravidian art.
