Title
Oxcarts on the Great Trunk Road
Description
Traffic adjacent to the highway is denser than on it, at least in this section of Bihar state. Given the relative poverty and rural nature of the area, much transport occurs by means of oxcarts. Cattle are central to India's economy, providing fuel, fertilizer, transport and food [ghee and milk for most, meat for some].
