Title
Private school students and motorized rickshaw
Description
India has [broadly speaking] a two-class educational system. Some private schools and state-supported institutions of higher education [such as the Indian Institutes of Technology] achieve world standards. Students in such entities, at the primary and secondary levels, customarily wear uniform. By contrast, students in public schools have far less access to quality education, as the government has pursued an overall policy of educating the 'creamy layer' since Independence. [This, by the way, represents an interesting continuing with both colonial policy and basic Hindu social values.]
