Title
Inside tomb of founder of Sikhism
Description
The Golden Temple, sacred to all Sikhs, stands in the center of Amritsar. This picture depicts the tomb of [insert name], the religion's founder. Although not required, Sikhs try to visit and pray there at least once in their lives. Long lines patiently wait the opportunity to enter, then can (at the appropriate time) enjoy a light lunch within the Temple grounds. Following the assassination of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by a Sikh member of her bodyguard, the Golden Temple was destroyed by the Indian Army ('Operation Blue Star', in June 1984). It has since been totally rebuilt by contributions by Sikhs from around the world.
