Title
Inside the Basilica of the Holy Blood
Description
This Bruges basilica is home to frescoes depicting church history, from the time of Christ to the Renaissance. Church fathers believe and maintain that the relic of a cloth with Christ's blood was taken from Jerusalem by crusaders in the twelfth century and brough back in a vial to Bruges, where it rests to this day.
