Description
Located in the picturesque Moselle Valley, this basilica dates from the period shortly after Christianity had been proclaimed the official religion of the Roman Empire. The basilica was constructed in the late fourth century by Constantine the Great, and was used to receive important visitors. The roof and upper walls were rebuilt in the 19th century.
