Title
Toledo Cathedral from afar
Description
The Toledo Cathedral is considered by experts to be the exemplar and magnum opus of the gothic style in Spain. Built on the site of a former mosque, the Toledo Cathedral interior was designed in a Mujedar style, with off-white walls and a checkered floor. The retable is the most complex structure; every surface is gilded and the figures of Jesus and Mary pop from the panels.
