Title
Cathedral Interior, Toledo
Description
In the Cathedral of Toledo, a skylight was built in over the main altar. This is called El Transperante. This skylight gives the impression that the entire altar is rising to heaven. The rejaria, or iron screens before the altar, were added during the Renaissance.
