Title
Plaza de España
Description
These elaborate, colorful tiles provide visitors glimpses into Spanish life as 20th-century artists saw it. This complex includes a half-circle of "Provincial Alcoves," which are tiled notches representing all the provinces of Spain. The Plaza de Espana was created in an Art Deco style and recycled some Moorish architectural tropes, as well.
