Hugo Kołłątaj (1750-1812), filozof, pisarz i polityk, współtwórca pierwszego na świecie ministerstwa oświaty, tz.w. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej. Jeden z czołowych przedstawicieli ruchu oświecenia. Reformator i rektor Akademii Krakowskiej. Zapoczątkował badania nad etnografią historią oświaty i kultury.
Hugo Kołłątaj (1750-1812), philosopher, writer, politician, co-founder of the world's first Ministry of Education, tz.w. National Education Commission. One of the leading figures of the Enlightenment movement. Reformer and rector of the Academy of Krakow. Initiated research on the ethnography of the history of education and culture.
