Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The aerial photograph depicts a transitional area between farmland and residential development. On the left side, a grid of newly laid streets is visible, with scattered houses and many empty lots awaiting construction. Toward the top and right, more established neighborhoods with denser housing are present. Several rail lines run diagonally through the image, including a large yard with parallel tracks in the bottom left. Open farmland covers much of the central and lower portions of the image, with small clusters of houses and isolated structures scattered throughout. The label "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C." appears in the bottom right corner, and the code "8226-129" is written at the top right.
