Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The aerial photograph shows a densely developed urban neighborhood with a tightly packed grid of streets lined with rows of houses. Several diagonal roads and rail lines intersect the grid, creating breaks in the uniform street pattern. At the lower left, a large industrial facility with multiple buildings and open lots is visible, connected to the rail lines. Toward the lower right, a large open rectangular field with circular paths and adjacent structures stands out among the residential blocks. Smaller open areas and scattered larger buildings appear throughout. The label "Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C." is printed in the lower right corner, and the code "8226-158" is written at the top right.
