A framed architectural rendering mounted within a wide cream-colored mat and dark frame. The watercolor drawing depicts a large, low horizontally oriented residence surrounded by mature trees and landscaped grounds. The building features extended rooflines, bands of windows, and layered volumes in warm tones of tan and yellow with reddish-brown roofs. A curved driveway leads toward the entrance in the foreground, with green lawns and shrubs around the structure. Along the bottom margin of the drawing, text reads: “ALTERATIONS OF RESIDENCE OF D. D. MARTIN ESQ. BUFFALO, N.Y. – FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT, ARCHITECT, TALIESIN.” Small red square accents appear at the lower corners of the drawing.
