Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
The image shows an aerial survey photograph of an urban area. Much of the scene is covered with residential streets arranged in a dense grid. At the center and lower sections, large excavation or quarry areas are visible, with irregular terrain and surrounding industrial buildings. Multiple rail lines cross the area diagonally, connecting industrial sites with the surrounding neighborhood. In the upper right, a large institutional complex with multiple buildings and open grounds is present. Additional industrial structures and open fields appear along the lower edge. The number “8226-180” is written in the top right corner, and the bottom right is labeled “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc N.Y.C.”.
