Description
Photographs, Black and White ; 24 x 18 cm.
This black-and-white aerial photograph shows a transitional landscape combining developed urban sections, open land, and recreational space. At the top, a large golf course with several fairways and greens is visible, bordered by tree lines. To the left and lower portions, a grid of residential streets with rows of houses is present, while other areas remain open fields or partially developed. In the upper right, multiple intersecting roadways and construction sites are visible, suggesting highway or road expansion. Scattered buildings and tree clusters are spread across the landscape. The label “Fairchild Aerial Surveys Inc. N.Y.C.” appears in the lower right corner, and the number “8226-257” is written in the upper right.
