Title
Kimonos, shop window
Description
Kimonos were widely worn especially by Japanese women until the late 19th century. They are now used largely on ceremonial occasions. The sign reads, ‘Final liquidation. 2001 collection of long-sleeved kimono.’ Note that in Japanese, ‘kimono’ is both singular and plural.
