Mail art piece, created by Ficus Strangulensis, is a two sided envelope collage constructed from printed paper with metal punch holes, decorated on front and back with five rectangular fuzzy fabric swatches in tan, red, black, blue, and tan arranged in a row across the center, with colorful star stickers, handwritten notes, stickers, rubber stamp ink, pink writing, and affixed with U.S. postage stamps and cancellation marks visible on a worn off-white background. The second component of this piece is a rectangular sample card labeled “LIVING ROOM” with five fuzzy fabric swatches arranged left to right in bright pink, green, brown, gray, and black, mounted on a worn off-white backing with grommet holes, printed text, and a small skeleton illustration near the top.
