Title
[Bruce Comens interview] /
Description
Recorded on October 26, 1986 for Spoken Arts Radio. Paul Hogan donated a copy of the recording made on a 60 minute TDK sound cassette.
Paul Hogan interviews Bruce Comens on the topic of language poetry. Comens discusses the works of Charles Bernstein, Bruce Andrews, Tom Raworth, Clark Coolidge, David Bromige. He explains that language poetry is suspicious of the notion of self in poetry, and it is more representative of using the intellect and critical faculty as a creative means.
