Jack Gilbert is introduced by an unnamed person. Gilbert talks in depth about his marriage and divorce from fellow poet Linda Gregg, and reads a poem of hers. He also provides vivid anecdotes about aging, living and traveling in Paris, and his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Recording ends abruptly during Gilbert's reading of Prospero without his magic.
