Recorded in Buffalo, N.Y. on November 23, 1986 for Spoken Arts Radio. Paul Hogan donated a copy of the recording made on a 60 minute TDK sound cassette.
Paul Hogan interviews poet and University at Buffalo Ph.D. graduate student in English, Elizabeth Willis. She discusses her travels in Indonesia and its influence upon her poetry. She describes the Indonesian folk art of shadow puppetry. Willis reads her own poetry and discusses her approach to writing poetry.
