University at Buffalo professor Robert Creeley introduces his colleague Carl Dennis for a "Wednesday at 4 series" poetry reading. Poet reads from his works and touches upon the topics of the self and family in poetry. Dennis also reads his poem "Delaware Park, 1990" which deals with Chinese students in the United States during the Tiananmen Square massacre in China.
