Recording starts with poet Isabella Gardner reading a poem by John Logan. She reads from The looking glass and Birthdays from the ocean. Gardner was introduced by John Logan. The reading was sponsored by the Friends of Lockwood Library and the U.B. Dept. of English as a featured reading of the Abbott Reading Fund.
