[Interview on Stonewall Nation, October 6, 1978] / Allen Ginsberg, Peter Orlovsky

Recorded at the University at Buffalo on October 6, 1978 for WBFO FM 88 radio program "Stonewall nation." Recorded on a 60 minute Maxell sound cassette.

Disc begins with Allen Ginsberg and Peter Orlovsky being interviewed by Alex Van Oss for Stonewall nation. Van Oss includes selections from Ginsberg's poem "Don't grow old" and he performs another song to close the interview. One song, "Born into this world" is from Ginsberg's performance at the Kiva, October 5, 1978. Ginsberg discusses his sexual orientation and how he came out to his father and friend Jack Kerouac. Ginsberg and Orlovsky talk about gay rights, their relationship and their interest in the anti-nuclear movement. It is believed that Al Herschberger is performing the musical accompaniement. At track 8, the recording shifts to the October 5, 1978 Peter Orlovsky poetry reading at the Kiva Room at the University at Buffalo.
