Recorded on January 25, 1987 for Spoken Arts Radio. Paul Hogan donated a copy of the recording made on a 60 minute TDK sound cassette.

Paul Hogan interviews University at Buffalo radio personality and Woody Guthrie scholar, David Benders. Benders talks about Guthrie's art and life and reads excerpts from his prose writings, including Radio hit. There are also clips from the Library of Congress of Guthrie's 1940 musical performance recorded by Alan Lomax.
