Recorded at Knox Hall, University at Buffalo on April 8, 1987 by Paul Hogan, who donated a copy of the recording to the Poetry Collection. Recorded on a 90 minute TDK sound cassette.

Poetry and prose reading by Ariel Dorfman. Dorfman talks about the time he spent in Chile and also about the problems facing that country and how it is addressed in poetry and prose. He reads extended sections of Widows and The last song of Manuel Sendero. The reading closes with a question and answer session.
