Recorded at the Creative Arts Festival at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio on April 17, 1973 on 7 inch Scotch reel-to-reel tape. Recorded by Robert J. Bertholf, while serving as Professor of English and organizer of the Creative Arts Festival at Kent State University. Recording was donated to the Poetry Collection at the University at Buffalo, where Bertholf subsequently served as Curator.

This recording is of a screening of eight films by Stan Brakhage at the Kent State University Creative Arts Festival on April 17, 1973. The films shown are "Eye myth," "The presence," four films from the "Sexual meditation" sequence, "Room with view," "Faun's room, Yale," "Office suite," and "Hotel," "The process," and "The riddle of Lumen." The recording is of Brakhage's commentary made before, between, and after the films are played, and not of the audio of the films. The recording was made by Robert J. Bertholf.
