Recorded at the Strike for Knowledge reading in Buffalo, N.Y. on March 19, 1968 by Allen De Loach for the Poetry Collection on 7 inch Scotch reel-to-reel tape.
Poetry reading by Irving Feldman, Robert Creeley, John Logan, and Denise Levertov held in Buffalo, N.Y. on March 19, 1968. The event was a "Strike for Knowledge Reading" in protest against the Vietnam War. In addition to reading his own poems, Creeley read one poem by his daughter, beginning "I love Halloween." Logan read from the 1968 National Book Award acceptance speech of Robert Bly, one poem by Bly, one poem by e.e. cummings, and one poem of his own. Feldman and Levertov read their own poetry.
