Recorded in the Norton Conference Theatre in Norton Hall at the University at Buffalo on October 11, 1967 at 4 p.m. on a 7 inch Concert reel-to-reel tape. Recorded by De Loach and then acquire by the Poetry Collection.
This recording is of Mike Flanigan reading all of The lady trilogy (1967) and a short poem titled "Student address." Flanigan lectures on "American poetry and the American poet," which includes reminiscences of Olson, Robert Creeley, and other poets who taught and studied at the University at Buffalo in the sixties. Reading was part of the Fall Literature Series.
