Recorded at the COSMEP Midwest Conference in Ann Arbor, Mich. on June 13, 1969 by Allen De Loach on an Overture 5 inch reel-to-reel tape. The Poetry Collection acquired the recording from De Loach.

This recording is of the Committee of Small Magazine Editors and Publishers (COSMEP) Midwest conference held in Ann Arbor, Michigan on June 13, 1969. The recording begins with a lecture by Felix Pollak, followed by lectures and readings by Len Fulton, Richard Morris, Don Dorrance, Michael Phillips, and George Thompson. Other participants included Jerry Burns, Morris Edelson, Tim Hildeband, Rich Mangelsdorff, Kimber Merker, Ron Bodnar, Richard Morris, and Harry Smith. "Anthology 2: of poems read at the Midwest COSMEP conference held at Ann Arbor June, 1969" was published by COSMEP in 1969.
