Bertholf, while serving as Professor of English and organizer of the Creative Arts Festival at Kent State University. Recording was donated to the Poetry Collection at the University at Buffalo, where Bertholf subsequently served as Curator
This recording is of a lecture by Fielding Dawson, held at Kent State University. Dawson discussed the mutual influence of poets and fiction writers, and the particular poets who influenced him, with a focus on Charles Olson and Robert Creeley at Black Mountain College.
