This recording is of an interview with Robert Duncan, conducted by David Schaff and moderated by Eugene Vance in New Haven, Connecticut on May 31, 1964 for the WTIC program "Yale Reports." Duncan ends the interview by reading the poem "The dance" from The opening of the field (1960).
