The fortieth page features eight photographs. The first four photographs are all of Muriel Orr-Ewing (MOE) and her son Peter, aged six months old, in their backyard. The fifth photograph is of a woman standing by a statue next to a road, and it is captioned "On the road to the sea." The sixth photograph is of MOE's dog Dax standing next to a road. The seventh photograph is of Gwen sitting next to a body of water sketching. The eighth photograph is of Mrs. Tada and Peter on Sunset Hill. The page is dated April 1925.
