            Description
Two-sided piece. Color postcard with paper and plastic overlay, tape, and paper pieces. U.S. postage stamps affixed.
A two-sided postcard. The front shows a person standing on a sunlit walkway in a yard holding a broom, surrounded by plants and a low white fence. Two comic-style speech bubbles have been added over the image, reading “MURPHL MMPH EERGH LORP” and “GREEEZ BLAAP.” The back of the postcard contains a handwritten message dated “11-29-888” addressed to John M. Bennett, 137 Leland, Columbus, Ohio 43214. The note praises a new tape and references diction, “SHAKUHACHI,” and sounds like “the flute” and “turning pages.” A red handprint is stamped near the bottom beside the signature “NUNZIO.” The postcard bears a “Greetings” 25¢ stamp with a sleigh scene, postmarked San Antonio, Texas.
