An ornate theatrical set depicts a large interior hall with a wide central staircase and walls covered in framed portraits. A leaded glass window sits in the background, and carved lamp posts are placed along the wooden railings. In the bottom left corner, one figure in historical dress stands beside another figure kneeling on the floor.
