This scene depicts a large gathering of people dressed in period attire on a stage designed with high vaulted ceilings and ornate gothic architecture. Several large framed paintings hang on the walls, and a central arched doorway is positioned beneath a large window. Some individuals are seated at a table on the left side, while the rest are standing in various groupings across the performance space.
