Act 2

The stage for the opera Turandot is built into the tiers of the Arena di Verona, featuring a central pagoda on a raised platform surrounded by stairs, screen walls, and trees. Several individuals in costume stand on the performance area, with a large orchestra positioned in the foreground below the stage. The black-and-white scene shows the brightly illuminated set against the dark background of the amphitheater's upper seating.
