A theatrical stage set depicts a historic courtyard with stone buildings, archways, and a large, stylized tree leaning over a hilly backdrop. Three figures in period costume occupy the space: one stands on a staircase to the left, another stands by a table in the foreground, and a third is bent over near a central doorway. Dramatic lighting illuminates the figures and architectural elements while leaving other areas in deep shadow.
