A black and white theatrical scene shows multiple people in elaborate historical costumes on a large stage. A massive set piece in the background features a bas-relief of a figure on horseback, framed portraits, and decorative pillars. Two central figures stand near the middle of the stage, while other performers are arranged in groups to the left and right. Text in the upper right corner indicates the setting is the Arena di Verona during the 1957 season.
