This is page one of The Spectrum Newspaper, Volume 23, Number 43 from December 8, 1972. One of Tom Toles' political cartoons is featured on the page.
Nearly the entire page is occupied by an elaborate black-ink illustration. A monumental reclining human figure dominates the right side, its head tilted upward and its long hair and beard flowing across his chest. Numerous much smaller nude human figures are gathered around and upon his body. Some appear curled up or reclining, while others seem partially enclosed within folds or cavities around the giant figure. Another enormous nude body stretches horizontally across the upper left. A heavily crosshatched, rocky environment fills the background.

Centered beneath the artwork is the large caption “Do you feel a draft?” At lower right, smaller text reads “(see story on page 3)”.
