Description
Act 1, scene 2a -- P. Zuffi, scene & costumes
A large, intricately carved screen featuring various religious scenes, including a central crucifixion, serves as a backdrop on a tiered stage. Several individuals wearing long, white robes stand in a line in front of the carving. Two large, three-candle candelabras and a small lectern are positioned on the stage floor. The entire scene is framed by a tall arch and captured in black and white.
