This historical black and white street scene displays a row of multi-story urban buildings housing various businesses. A central dark building features a turreted corner with a pharmacy called White Cross on the ground level, while an adjacent lighter building contains a restaurant named White Coffee Pot. Cars are parked along the curb, and people are visible on the sidewalks near storefronts and a theater marquee. Overlaid white text identifies the source as the Poetry Collection of the University Libraries, University at Buffalo.
